Sausage and Mash
Given the choice how many dads would opt for sausage and mash I know all the dads in my familly would. So why not treat your dad with a small version of the dish to start off their meal.

Ingredients
Mash
- 500g flour potatoes, peeled and roughly diced
- 100ml milk
- 1 tbsp. chives, finely chopped
- 3 tbsp. butter
- pinch grated nutmeg
- maldon salt and freshly ground black pepper
Sausages
- 6 Toubelaise sausages or your dads favourite
Sauce
- 2 tomatoes, diced
- 6 mushrooms, cleaned, trimmed and finely chopped
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tsp balsamic vinegar
- 1 tbsp chives, finely chopped
- salt and freshly ground black pepper
To Serve
- 12 chive sprigs
